Hey, everyone! Sorry about the late post-up. So here it is: Friday Link Day, two days too late.

This week: Free RPGs.
Risus: This is one of my favorite RPGs ever, for the simple reason that a character sheet can fit on a business card. The Narrativist in me rejoices. The rules are nice and simple, giving plenty of room for character development and intrigue. Or, if you actually play by their rules, to make the most ridiculous game ever. I’ve run this game both seriously and humorously, running a Marvel Superheroes RPG online, as well as a tabletop Stuper Heroes one shot featuring the superhero team “Good Guys Inc.” There’s a ton of supplements for it as well, allowing to run nearly any genre.
Microlite 20: I’ve recently begun looking at Microlite. Me and some guys at work are thinking about running a lunchtime game. I like it because of it’s simplifying of the D20 rules, breaking it down to the bare essentials. It’s also incredibly easy to take any 3.0 or 3.5 book off your shelf and dumb it down for Microlite (I use the term “dumb down” in the best sense, of course)
GURPS Lite: I enjoy GURPS, though it sometimes is too realistic for my tastes. GURPS Lite gives you all of the GURPS rules free, but without any extra details found in the core rulebooks.
That’s all I got for this week! Keep rolling Crits, everyone.
