Okay, this is completely unrelated to gaming, but a stint of late night heartburn let me to witness a commercial for a new LG dishwasher, which showed a woman fantasizing what she’d do with her old dishwasher. One of those fantasies consisted of her hurling her dishwasher across a field with a trebuchet. A trebuchet! Which, let me say, is awesome. But that’s not where it gets interesting.
What was interesting, is the text at the bottom of the screen. It stated:
DO NOT ATTEMPT.
Do not attempt?! Where is the average person going to get a hold of a medieval siege weapon? And if they do happen to have one, I would think that they have the right to throw pretty much anything they want, right?
Right?

haha. That’s possibly the funniest thing I’ve read this week. As for owning a trebuchet and throwing things … well, yes. I suppose you should be able to do whatever you like … That would be so much fun …. It’d be the end of all garage sales or council cleanups. If you have useless crap you don’t want anymore … trebuchet. People you don’t like anymore … trebuchet. Buildings you don’t like anymore … trebuchet.
What a glorious society it would be….
